About the artists

 

Pocketsize Productions' owner Becky (David) Keck was raised in Fayette County, PA and now calls Greensboro, PA home. As a student at Edinboro University she focused on painting and drawing. She is a graduate of Waynesburg Univerty with dual degrees; a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Art in Fine Art.

She pit fires in the historic pottery town of
Greensboro, PA Becky (David) Keck’s work is held in the Waynesburg University Museum Collection and by private collectors.

 

She has participated in multiple regional shows and has been a demonstrator and lecturer at local events. 

 

In 2009 she left her corporate purchasing position to focus on creating her own art and establishing a venue for regional emerging artists to display and sell their work in the historic District of Waynesburg, PA; thus the beginning of  Pocketsize Productions, LLC.

 

In 2010 she will be offering project based classes for individuals and small groups. She recently studied pinch pots and pit firing techniques at Touchstone Center for Craft.


 

She is a Member of the Nathaneal Greene Historical Foundation and White Covered Bridge Festival Association as well as a founding board member of the Creative Industries of Greene County.
